Needle Felting

Here are some needle felting projects I've done:

Gnomes!  I make them with hats/hoods, depending.

Flowers--These are more like lilies...

These are more the "kindergarten" idea.

Little bows :)

Mermaids!  I made one with purple hair and an Ariel, too.

Needle felting is really fun, and a stress reliever, too.  You get a quick result (most of these took under 5 minutes; the gnomes take a little longer, as well as the mermaids) and stabbing wool with a needle... Beware, though, because it really hurts if you poke yourself!  I'll do more needle felting posts in the future, but until then, Happy Homeschooling!

Savvy

I have had NO time to blog, so sorry!  But I have a new book that I like: Savvy, by Ingrid Law.  The sequel, Scumble, is out now too--I haven't read that one yet, but it sounds good!

Fun stuff, Savvy.  It's about Mibs Beaumont, who turns thirteen and finds out her savvy, or magical power.  I won't say what her savvy is, but she can't figure it out right away.  It's not like any other book I've read, definitely, but it's one of the best!

On another note, I've been needle felting, and I'll post some pictures of my projects soon.  My mom's working on crocheting a scarf, as well.  I can try to post pictures of that, too.  Until then, Happy Homeschooling!
